Although not as famous as other parks in Tanzania, Tarangire National Park is a great place to see giraffes, different types of antelopes, rhinos and leopards. Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest National Park in Tanzania. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during the dry season. Activities: Game drives

Watching elephants, buffalo, and hippo in one of the mud pools provides for some wonderful safari moments, and the backdrop of the escarpment adds a spectacular component to the scenery. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the natural wonders of the world and the best place in Tanzania to see the big five, black rhino and some of the largest tusker elephants left in Africa. Also is home to strong populations of lion, leopard and hyena along with good herds of wildebeest, buffalo and zebra.
