Nairobi – 2 Nights
International arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport – Transfer to your accommodation Nairobi is a city full of contrasts – skyscrapers, shopping malls, matatus and colorful markets! Enjoy a cold Tusker or follow into the footsteps of Karen Blixen; watch orphaned elephants being fed at the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage or come to a closer encounter with a giraffe in the Giraffe Centre. There are loads of ways to experience this lively and vibrant capital city. Activities: Visit of the Giraffe Centre, the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Karen Blixen museum.
Masai Mara – 3 Nights
Drive from Nairobi to Masai Mara (4 to 6 hours) "Out of Africa" will come alive! Enjoy the endless plains of golden grass dotted with Acacia Trees and witness the most spectacular wildlife experience on earth between July and September – the yearly migration of millions of wildebeest and zebras and the dramatic crossing of the crocodile-infested Mara River in a quest for the best pastures. Even if you don’t experience the migration, the Masai Mara will impress you with a dense animal population and Big Five encounters. Lake Naivasha – 1 Night
Drive from Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha (3 to 5 hours) Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus and surrounded by forests. You will not get bored in Naivasha – Hell’s Gate NP is waiting with some mountain biking or rock climbing, take a walk on Crescent Island and enjoy the beautiful view from the top. Take a boat trip on the lake and watch hippos peaking up from the water or you can also climb the spectacular Longonot Mountain – the hike along the crater rim is one of the most beautiful day hikes in East Africa. Drive from Lake Naivasha to Nairobi Wilson Airport (2 to 4 hours) – Flight to Diani (1.5 hours) – Transfer to accommodation The Kenyan coast feels like a different world from the dry plains of the savannah. Enjoy crystal clear turquoise water and powder-fine sand over 10km along Diani Beach.
